7. วัตถุประสงค์ของหลักสูตร (Program Objectives)

หลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาสถิติและวิทยาการข้อมูล (หลักสูตรปรับปรุง พ.ศ. 2569) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อผลิตมหาบัณฑิตที่มีคุณสมบัติดังนี้

(The Master of Science Program in Statistics and Data Science (Revised 2026) aims to produce graduates with the following qualifications:)

1) มีความรู้ความเข้าใจเชิงลึกทางสถิติและวิทยาการข้อมูล สามารถบูรณาการทฤษฎีและแนวปฏิบัติเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาขั้นสูงในสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง

(In-depth knowledge and understanding in statistics and data science, with the ability to integrate theory and practice to solve advanced problems in related fields.)

2) มีความสามารถในการคิดวิเคราะห์ และการประยุกต์ใช้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพวิธีทางสถิติและวิทยาการข้อมูลในการตัดสินใจหรือแก้ไขปัญหาที่ซับซ้อนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

(Strong analytical thinking skills and effective application of statistical and data science methods to complex decision-making and problem-solving.)

3) มีทักษะการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ซอฟต์แวร์ด้านสถิติ และเครื่องมือในการจัดการ วิเคราะห์ และแปลผลข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ทั้งในภาคทฤษฎีและการปฏิบัติจริง

(Proficiency in information technology, statistical software, and tools for managing, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets in both theoretical and practical contexts.)

4) มีทักษะการสื่อสารและการนำเสนอข้อมูลเชิงสถิติและวิทยาการข้อมูลต่อผู้เกี่ยวข้องอย่างถูกต้องและมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งในรูปแบบการให้คำปรึกษาและการเขียน

(Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying statistical and data science findings to relevant stakeholders accurately and effectively, both through consulting and written reporting.)

(Utilize statistical techniques, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to develop predictive models for solving business problems and conducting research.)
