Conditions for requesting statistics consultation services

1. Principle and reason
Due to the past, there are not only KKU students and KKU staffs, but there are also some personnel outside the university who come across to consult us about applying statistical methodology to their research works. Our consulting service practically wants to collaborate these services to academic learning, and research. For this reason, we, Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, proudly establish KKU Statistics Consulting Clinic: KKU SCC to give advice on statistical methodology for students, researchers, personnel, and community. Moreover, not only we do academically service for the community, but we also would like to exchange and integrate knowledge from this project to develop our academic learning, teaching, and research. This project additionally benefits to our statistics students to practice giving an advice scholastically, enhance their expertise, and apply their knowledge to other fields.
2. Objective
To give advices on statistical work, including designing an experiment, determining a sample size, conducting the data set, analyzing the data set, running a statistical program, interpreting the outputs, and making conclusion for research works.
3. Applicants
For students, researchers, personnel, and community.
4. Service rate
We are considering the service rate as the following:

5. Requesting the service
5.1 Applicants must prepare the topic for requesting the service. The consulting time is limited from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the topic.
5.2 Applicants must fill out the requesting form at least 3 days in advance before receiving the service.
